Elyce West

Elyce is a Houston Texas native and currently a senior studying musical theatre at Pace Univerity in New York City. She began performing exclusively within high school and has since been apart of productions such as: Legally Blonde, Once On This Island, Ragtime, Les Miserables, Head Over Heels, ` Elyce has spent her college career working on new work with up and coming musical theater writers, studio recordings, and being in workshops and concerts by industry professionals such as Sam Pinkleton, Lonny Price, and LaChanze. In addition to her minor studies in Ethnicity and Race theory at Pace, she is also a devoted advocate for folks in marginalized communities, and activist for change in the world through the arts. Elyce was one of the directors for A Night of Color: Debunking the Myth, a cabaret for and by BIPOC students and industry professionals where she was also seen as a featured performer and the founder of the "A Night of Color Award." This monetary award is now being used to help young BIPOC artists pursue higher education and a methodology for change in our industry as a whole.
