Beg. Voice Over

Katie (she/her) graduated from NYU with a BFA in Musical Theater from Tisch School of the Art’s New Studio on Broadway in 2019! At Tisch, she not only studied voice, acting and dance, but also participated in a Physical Acting intensive which involved iprov, comedia, clowning and mask work training. Her artistic style is a take on the “go big, or go home” mentality. She uses her body and full range of expression to make bold choices, and takes the time to find the comedy even in the most dramatic of texts. Since graduation, she has performed in numerous shows regionally with Peterborough Players (A Doll’s House Part 2, The Drowsy Chaperone, She Loves Me). She has also played the role of Lizzy in Kate Hamill’s “Pride and Prejudice” with Lost Nation Theater; A role for which she won the Vermont Broadway World Award for Best Actres in a Professional Production. Most recently, Katie was in the Off-Broadway cast of “Wicked City Blues,” at The Actor’s Temple on 47th Street. Katie has worked regionally at Barrington Stage as the Kitty U/S in “Taking Steps,” (a British farce by Alan Ayckbourn) and played Margo in their world premier reading of “Butterflies,” directed by Graciela Daniele. Katie is currently beginning to do some Voice Over work and exploring the art of camera acting with teacher Ann Mahoney ( of “The Walking Dead”).

Katie has always had a passion for teaching and has assistant taught at Paper Mill Playhouse, as well as Elefante Music in NJ. She believes success in the arts is directly related to the relationships we hold with those around us and the relationship we hold with ourselves. As a coach, she aims to build these connections and help her students understand how their mind, body and skill sets all work together to create a healthy, creative and successful artist and individual!
